Even if they don't fire back and kill you, you will still likely be arrested, court martialed, or some other appropriate punishment indicating that your mission is over and so is your career. This is often the case where you do things such as fire on friendlies just to see if they are Friendly Fireproof. This often gets you chewed out by an NPC followed by an unceremonious game over.

Conversely, getting outright killed in a game whose scenarios rarely involve life-threatening situations may trigger a non-standard Game Over. In games where the standard 'game over' sequence is getting killed by something, any situation in which you can lose without actually dying may result in a non-standard game over. There are a few variations on this theme:
#HERO OF THE KINGDOM 3 GAMEFAQ FULL#
Sometimes there are games that give an unusual message or even a full cutscene for losing the game in a specific way. But that is not what this trope is about.

These are all standard failings, usually treated with a simple default message: " Game Over."Īlternatively, you have successfully finished the game, defeated the Final Boss and receive a Game Over message after the credits because technically the "game is over". …Or, maybe you just forgot to pause the game while reading the walkthrough you pulled from GameFAQs and the game's timer ran out - you get the idea. You might have been caught or captured during a Stealth-Based Mission. Maybe you failed a story important mission or lost a critical Non-Player Character during an Escort Mission.

Maybe you fell down too many Bottomless Pits and lost all your lives, or the Player Character was beaten to death by a particularly vicious Demonic Spider. Since we have it you just have to give the book to him and you'll get that quest done as well.In most games, players see the dreaded Game Over screen when they lose in some way. Once you get inside the monastery there will be a monk named John who wants a book of herbology. Now you'll need to get 100 fame so you can speak to the king in order to enter the monastery located in east of Gray Valley. In return you will get some fame and a handbook of herbology which we will use for the next quest. Now you have all the scrolls and you can finish the quest for the Chronicler. Give him the dragon's tooth you got from the previous quest and you will get some fame and the last scroll. After you've picked up 4 of them you are able to talk to a little brat asking you for a dragon's tooth so he can boast to his friends (♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ freaking brat). They are pretty easy to see but I'll mark them down below incase any of you have trouble finding it. Start by picking up the four scrolls around in Azure Valley. The 5th one is actually stolen by a brat and you have to do a quest for him to get it back. If you are like me and found the 4 first ones and then can't find the last one don't worry. Start by talking to the Chronicler, he has lost 5 scrolls that he wants help to find. Now you have everything to continue the next quest. After this he will ask you for 12 animal teeth, if you give him that he will give you a dragon's tooth. He will ask you for 20 fur, give that to him. You can not finish or sometimes even begin some of the quests before you finish the ones required before it.ģ of these quests are located in Azure Valley and the other one located in Gray Valley. The reason I call this the quadruple quest is because it's four quests all connected to eachother.
